Bloom Creative Summit: Opening Coffee Power Hour with Harp Music in Chattanooga
I had the joy of opening Coffee Power Hour at the Bloom Creative Summit in Chattanooga, a gathering designed to hold space and community for Black women and Black nonbinary entrepreneurs. Bloom’s mission is simple and powerful: to help participants bloom in business and flourish in wellness.
As a harpist, I believe in the power of sound to set intention. To begin this inspiring day, I played songs that celebrate dynamic women and their voices, from Alicia Keys’ “Girl on Fire” to India.Arie’s “I Am Light.” These songs aren’t just music, they are affirmations of resilience, brilliance, and light.
The Bloom Creative Summit is more than a conference - it’s a movement. It’s about carving out intentional space where women of color can come together, network, and invest in both their business dreams and personal wellness. Having this type of space in Chattanooga is so important, not only for the local creative community but also for the broader ecosystem of women entrepreneurs.
For me, playing harp at Bloom was about opening the day with sound that invited everyone into connection and possibility. Live harp music has a unique way of softening edges, awakening hearts, and preparing us to fully receive one another.
🌸 If you’re looking for a harpist in Chattanooga, whether for conferences, wellness events, weddings, or community gatherings, I’m here, in addition to my work in Atlanta. Music has the power to create memorable, transformative experiences, and I’d love to bring that to your space.
